Rotwired Studios is a solo indie game studio creating grounded, atmospheric horror and weird experiences. The focus isn’t on jump-scares for their own sake, but on the slow dread that seeps out of ordinary rooms, objects, and routines.
Our work isn’t about spectacle. It’s about the quiet tension of a hallway you’ve walked a hundred times, a dead light fixture humming with something that shouldn’t be there or a camera flash revealing what the eye refused to see. Horror to us isn’t summoned, it is uncovered.
Currently in Development: Dead Exposure, a camera-driven haunted house story.
Who is Rotwired?
Rotwired is led by Zack Hudson, who directs the creative vision and handles core design and development. The studio stays intentionally small, a mix of in-house craft, carefully chosen assets, and contract collaborators who help shape the physical world of each project.
The goal is simple: build tight, atmospheric games that feel real enough to unsettle, using every tool available to make the mundane feel hostile.
